Interesting projects

• LMC: Together with Filip, we implemented an advanced reporting platform for a chat bot with focus on advanced data processing. I focused on data visualization and on making the system intuitive for the report builders who had no background in programming. This sped up the application development by decoupling the reporting platform from the backend development team.
• Twisto : I developed several automation tools that save manual work and lower the risk of errors. Twisto, a fintech company uses them for example for early fraud detection or to improve the return in debt collection process.
• Behavio: The sociodemographic application Atlas Čechů contains a very large amount of data. I prototyped several algorithms that decide what data are interesting in a given moment and should be shown to the user.
• Quantlane: To make HFT quantitative analysts work more efficient, I integrated time series data about stock market from several sources and cleaned them up.

Interesting projects

• Twisto : A fintech startup grew from a successful MVP to a maturing company scaling to several countries. I assembled a DevOps team and helped the company to scale development while remaining agile. I was overseeing the implementation of Kubernetes, internal APIs, CI/CD, data warehouse and microservices. High availability and possiblity of infrastructure maintenance during daytime was a big concern in this project.
• LMC: Together with Nasťa, we implemented an advanced reporting platform for a chat bot with focus on advanced data processing. We successfully plugged this platform into a broader ecosystem of services. This sped up the application development by decoupling the reporting platform from the backend development team.
• Monitora : For a growing company, I tested and then successfully realized an approach to move their 600 GB MySQL database into PostgreSQL without downtime. In addition, I helped them to choose a cost-effective solution for their infrastructure.
• Neuron Soundware: As a co-founder of a machine learning startup, I was responsible for the data infrastructure. I built an environment for collecting data from IoT devices, training Machine Learning models and building protoype applications. In the company, we focused on predicting machinery failures based on the change in its sound patterns. The company has already successfully raised a second financing round.
• MSD: Bringing agile development practices to a big pharma company, I led the development of an internal bioinformatics tool based on the CRISPR technology.
• Geneea: Bootstrapping a startup - I designed and implemented the basis of the public API for a text analytics startup, reusing existing serviceswhere possible. This helped Geneea Analytics with short time to market and lower costs than other solutionsthey were considering at the time.
• ChemAxon : I helped to integrate previously isolated teams in Prague, Budapest and Ostrava to bootstrap an innovative project for the biggest pharma companies in the world.
